Client Reviews: Mira Vista

February 3rd, 2010

Mira Vista, a skilled nursing facility in Mt. Vernon, Washington, wanted more than what their in-house rehabilitation therapy program was delivering. Challenges with inefficiency and low intensity had resulted in lower clinical outcomes and lower reimbursement for the facility. In 2001, Mira Vista teamed up with lnfinity Rehab and converted their in-house program while maintaining
previous staff.

Currently their skilled census has improved from 6 to 35 and their patients are receiving high quality and high intensity services. In addition, Mira Vista is enjoying an improved reputation in their community, as well as an improved financial position due to the change in their rehab program.

“Because of lnfinity Rehab’s philosophy of care and their management systems, the therapists that were formerly on my staff do a better job for us now that they are with Infinity.” - Executive Director Scott Hale

Foreign-trained Therapists

February 3rd, 2010

Infinity Rehab does work with Foreign-Trained Physical and Occupational Therapists who are interested in working in the United States.

U.S. Visas
The United States issues several types of visas that allow foreign-trained therapist to work in this country.  Infinity Rehab works with H-1B, E-3, TN and Immigrant Visa’s.  The most common method we use is the H-1B employer sponsored temporary work visa for skilled trained foreign workers.  The H-1B visa is initially good for three years and can be renewed when that time expires.

Steps in the process
Foreign-Trained Physical Therapists must have successfully passed the TOEFL iBT and gained credentialing from the FCCPT.  Once the Foreign-Trained Therapist successfully completes a phone interview, we will work with them to take their NPTE exam, then apply for licensing in the state they will be working in. Next, Infinity Rehab will file a visa application sponsoring their work in the U.S..

Foreign-Trained Occupational Therapists must have successfully passed the TOEFL iBT, gained credentialing and pass the exam from the NBCOT.  Once the Foreign-Trained Therapist successfully completes a phone interview, we will work with them to apply for licensing in the state they will be working in. Next, Infinity Rehab will file a visa application sponsoring their work in the U.S..

Client Reviews: Mary’s Woods

February 3rd, 2010

Marie Rose Health Care Center, the health center of brand new CCRC Mary’s Woods at Marylhurst in Lake Oswego, Oregon, selected Infinity Rehab to assist them even prior to becoming Medicare certified in their skilled section.

The practice at Mary’s Woods grew from a part-time program to a vibrant, full-service therapy practice that fosters health and wellness for the post-acute residents and the entire campus. Monthly “Health Seminar Series” educate and screen the residents in independent living, providing services where needed and adding value to their CCRC residency.

“After examining several other options, we chose lnfinity Rehab because of their knowledge base, their systems, and their service. They helped us assimilate systems for managing Medicare and Managed Care so that we didn’t have to reinvent the wheel. Instead we could focus on growing and improving the program.” - A Mary’s Woods Administrator

Client Reviews: Prestige Care

February 2nd, 2010

Prestige Care, Inc., operator of 19 skilled nursing centers, chose Infinity Rehab to enhance their rehab program and promote their rehab services status in the community. Within the first quarter, the skilled days increased 36% and Prestige observed a much higher intensity and comprehensiveness of programming. The clinical intensity, combined with a lower base price, resulted in over a 100% increase in rehab profitability for Prestige from their previous provider, and over a 100% increase in services for the long-term care resident.

Harold Delamarter, President of Prestige Care, is appreciative of lnfinity Rehab’s accountability. lnfinity Rehab meets monthly with the Prestige Senior Managers to review progress and benchmarks, adjust goals and align with Prestige’s clinical initiatives, functioning very much as Prestige’s own Rehab Management.

“It was the right decision for us. I recommend their program to any provider who wants to enjoy
marked improvements in community reputation, clinical services, and financial well-being.”
- Prestige Care President Harold Delamarter
