Courtney Holmes, COTA and Director of Rehab for Infinity Rehab at Shalom Park in Aurora, CO was recently selected to participate in theesteemed American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Emerging Leaders Development Program. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, occupational therapy assistants help clients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. Occupational therapy assistants are directly involved in providing therapy to clients, while occupational therapy aides typically perform support activities. Both assistants and aides work under the direction of occupational therapists.
