Leadership and Vision

Leadership Academy definitely helped me grow and become a leader for my team, my facility and for Infinity Rehab.  It has given me the tools to continue to grow my leadership skills beyond the classroom and to help others grow as leaders, clinicians and innovators.  I have learned about our values as individuals and teams and how they tie in with not only the company vision but our own visions for various projects. The development of a vision helps guide us, excite us and engage us to reach the vision’s goal.  I learned about leadership techniques and communication styles and … Continue reading

Another Great Year of Continuing Education!

What an exciting weekend! The 12th annual NW Symposium is in the books and it was another huge success! For each Symposium, our objective is to provide our clinicians with the best possible continuing education. We succeeded in this goal by hosting presenters who covered topics ranging from joint replacement rehabilitation to upper extremity rehabilitation post-stroke to neurology for the SLP and much more. Now, nearly 700 clinicians can bring this new knowledge (or a refresher for some) back to the clinic Monday morning and continue to positively impact the lives of those they serve. We all had so much … Continue reading

What is the evidence behind gait training and the benefits of body weight support systems? What is the 6th vital sign? •Allen Cognitive Testing (Michael Rackham, OTR): Can you assess a … Continue reading

In addition to therapists, we also invite our customers … Continue reading

Infinity Rehab Assembles Resources to Assist Client Facilities in Reducing Re-Hospitalizations

As health care reform changes the landscape for acute and post-acute care, one of the first priorities is to reduce re-hospitalizations of Medicare patients. Up to 25% of patients discharged from Hospitals re-admit within 30 days. It is estimated that 75% of those re-admissions are avoidable with more attention to care transitions. Infinity Rehab is assembling powerful resources to assist their clients in reducing re-hospitalizations. The first step is this: providing training for our clients on the Interactâ„¢ System. What is INTERACT? INTERACT (Interventions to Reduce Acute Care Transfers) is a quality improvement program that focuses on the management of … Continue reading
