PT and SLP needed now

Nestled between mountain views is Shasta View Nursing Center, a skilled nursing community in Weed, California. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a physical therapist (PT) in this community. They are also seeking a part-time speech-language pathologist (SLP).

Here staff work with seniors following injury or illness to help them gain strength and independence, and return to wherever they call home.
You could be a PT or SLP that is part of helping seniors get back the things they love doing most. Here’s what makes Shasta View Nursing Center a great place to work.

Clinical support from day one

Infinity Rehab’s irresistible culture is what makes the company truly shine. The team eases new clinicians into their new role from day one with a 90-day Immersion Program. And you have opportunities to grow along the way with an amazing selection of professional development programs.

Build your leadership skills as part of Leadership Academy. Thrive as a physical therapist with Clinical Champions. When you’re welcomed to the Infinity Rehab team, you’re offered every opportunity to make yourself shine as an individual and as part of a team.

Strong relationship with the team

“We have a very supportive therapy team and interdisciplinary team,” said Darcy Carter, OT/L, Director of Rehab at Shasta View Nursing Center.

According to Darcy, the Shasta View Nursing Center team relies heavily on the therapy team’s contribution to daily care and development of the plan of care for both their skilled nursing and long-term care patients. “There is a great working relationship between the therapy team and all of the interdisciplinary team members,” Darcy said. “It’s a very enjoyable work environment, despite the stressors that are bound to occur in a SNF setting.”

Resources for quality care

Shasta View Nursing Center is proud to be the 2017 recipient of the Pinnacle Customer Experience Award. They were named best in class for customer satisfaction standards in dignity and respect.
In addition to backing from a team that values quality, they also have strong support for discharge planning with an option for home visits and community reentry activities with patients. Additionally, you can venture out with the wheelchair transport van or take a stroll for nearby resources, including a library.

California fun for a PT or SLP

When you’re not working with patients, you can enjoy the beautiful outdoor experiences California has to offer! Enjoy the surrounding area with many great spots for hiking, biking, skiing, and snowboarding, and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.

Adventure out just a few hours to visit national landmarks and parks, including Shasta Lake, Shasta National Forest, Crater Lake National Park, the Trinity Alps, and more. And just south of there, you can experience the city life of Sacramento or San Francisco.
