Congratulations, Josh!

Josh Moss, an Infinity Rehab physical therapist assistant (PTA), has earned Level 3 status in the Clinical Champions professional development program. Moss is a PTA at Village Health Care in Gresham, Oregon. He has been a therapist with Infinity Rehab for 14 years.

The Clinical Champions Program focuses on identifying and developing essential clinical behaviors for effective practice at Infinity Rehab. Participants in this program can attain recognition, compensation, and valuable experiences by advancing through the program.

Advancing as a Clinical Champion

Josh notes that the Clinical Champions program was a positive experience for him.

He shared, “It was excellent professional development focused on the goals of the Infinity system. I want to take part in what the company provides as a way to engage with the company and as a way to be my best as a PTA on a team providing patient care. I’ve learned over the years that practices are constantly evolving, and if we don’t move with the changes in the system and the research, we can’t provide what’s best for our patients.” He continued, “I’ve learned to be open to the tools Infinity provides but also to give my input on how changes are experienced in practice. Participating in the Clinical Champions program allowed for both, input from the company and input from me.”

Josh has a passion for his practice and stated, “I enjoy being a friend to older adults who many times are dealing with one of the most difficult transitions or healing experiences of their lives. It is a joy to encourage patients in their PT work in the SNF setting, to help them feel like their lives are worth the effort. When I prepared for the work of physical therapy, my goal was to help people. My idea of helping people was to help them heal and get back to where they want to be physically. But now, I find that a big part of helping people is helping them get through the system quickly as possible and to support them as they manage the process.”

About Clinical Champions

The Clinical Champions program has three main goals:

  • To help every Infinity clinician understand the core behaviors we consider essential practices to deliver high-quality patient care
  • To provide a roadmap for everyone to advance their own skills toward higher levels of expertise in those areas
  • To serve as a company structure for the effective rollout of patient care improvement programs

Clinician practice is measured in each of five areas across three levels of progressive excellence, providing a clear framework for every Infinity Rehab clinician to advance their development within the company.
