Infinity Rehab Receives Face Shield Donation

WILSONVILLE, Ore. – Infinity Rehab, a therapy services company, received a generous donation of 50 face shields from the Wilsonville High School robotics team. The donation was in response to a need for personal protective equipment (PPE) during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The robotics team, led by Tim Bennington-Davis, have had a difficult season, as the coronavirus outbreak halted their competition season just two weeks after it had begun. Bennington-Davis found himself with some very talented students with a lot of time on their hands.
The news spread quickly about their work and they soon partnered with the West Linn robotics team. In their first week alone, they made 100 face shields. To date, 650 face shields have been produced and distributed across seven states, including Oregon. Infinity Rehab was one of several healthcare companies that benefitted from the donations.
“We are so grateful for this much-needed donation,” stated JoLynn Munro, Division President of Infinity Rehab. “Our therapists are on the front lines, and face shields are a key component for their protection.”
“That these students were prepared, willing, and able to turn on a dime to direct their energies and creativity towards helping others without hesitation makes me very proud to be associated with them,” noted Bennington-Davis.
