Infinity Rehab Director Accepted into the Washington LeadingAge Leadership Academy

Congratulations to Andrea Matrone, MA, CCC-SLP, Area Rehab Director on her recent acceptance into the Leadership Academy of the Washington LeadingAge chapter. Read her story below. I was honored and excited when my supervisor discussed the option of me applying for the 2016 Leading Age Leadership Academy. Although extremely excited at the thought of being included in this amazing experience, it can also be overwhelming to think of being a part of this on top of our already hectic jobs and family life. However, after some thought and discussion, I knew I had the support of my family and Infinity … Continue reading

Infinity Rehab Therapist Champions Telehealth Proposal

Skilled Physical Therapist assisting resident with arm strength therapy

On November 15, 2013, the Washington State Board of Hearing and Speech voted unanimously in support of a proposal to allow telehealth supervision of Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) during their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Angie Quesnell, SLP and Regional SLP Mentor for Infinity Rehab, submitted and championed the proposal through the process. Achieving Successes through Challenges

Infinity Rehab recently faced a seemingly insurmountable task. Our partners, Prestige Care, Inc., recently acquired eight skilled nursing facilities in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. In addition, two new Infinity outpatient clinics were scheduled to start in Washington. Now, this might seem like a simple transition of services for a rapidly growing contract therapy company that handles sub-acute and outpatient rehab for over 170 facilities across nine states. However, the nature of the acquisition and outpatient clinic start-ups required that our services were to be in place within a month. We were up for the challenge. Our recruitment department worked diligently … Continue reading

LYNDEN – The Christian Health Care Center has partnered with health Ministries Network, an extension of PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center, to provide complimentary healthcare support to senior citizens recovering from injury or illness. Therapy done right at Good Samaritan Society – Spokane Valley

An advertisement touting the therapy services at Good Samaritan Society – Spokane Valley in Spokane, Washington recently ran in an issue of Spokane Coeur d’Alene Living. And it’s pretty hard to disagree with the ad’s opening line: “The Rehab Clinic at Good Samaritan Society-Spokane Valley is dedicated to helping rehabilitate you as a whole person – mind, body, and spirit.” “The Rehab Clinic” it mentions is none other than our wonderful Infinity Rehab therapists who work there. We are fully aware that the intention of the advertisement is to market the therapy services to the local community, but it is … Continue reading
